    2. 2 November – Christmas Kickoff and Thanksgiving

    3. 2 December – Giving Tuesday or Last week of Angel Tree and Christmas Kettle last push with year-end message.

    1. Angel Tree Registration call for volunteers

    2. Christmas Kickoff/Start of Kettles

  • Media interviewing training including key talking points

  • On call PR consulting

  • Media sponsor for an established special event you do

    1. Need an Angel Tree or Christmas Media Sponsor?

    2. Need a Donut Day Sponsor-build up your Donut Day presence?

    3. Annual banquet Media Sponsor? 

  • Media interviewing training- includes role playing w/ professional reporter

  • On call PR consulting

12 Month Commitment - Suggested Schedule:

  • 12 News Releases and each pitched and follow up with media

    1. 2 October – Angel Tree Registration and Call for Volunteers

    2. 2 November – Christmas Kickoff and Thanksgiving

    3. 3 December – Giving Tuesday/Last week of Angel Tree, Angel Tree Distribution, Christmas Kettle last push, Year-end message.

    4. January/February for cold temperatures or shelter 

    5. March/April – Easter, Camp, Pantry 

    6. July/August for Extreme Heat programs-high utility bills in Social Services, Water stations, Fan give away, Camp, etc. 

    7. August/September – Back to School

    8. Annual Event/Matching Grant/others

  • 8-10 Interviews – We look at your campaigns and decide where best to place these

  • 6 Stories/blogs written for internal paper or newsletters

    1. Stories sent to Southern Spirit

    2. Use these stories for Blogs or Social Media

  • Media sponsors for an established special event you do

  • Media interviewing training- includes role playing w/ professional reporter

  • On call PR consulting and active team member as needed-monthly mtgs
